The Party Wall etc Act 1996 was put in place to prevent building owners and their neighbouring properties experiencing potential damage from nearby or adjacent building works and developments. The Act is often complex and BHT Building Consultancy are able to guide you through the process.
Works that generally fall within the party wall legislation that our team of experienced surveyors are able to assist with include:
